Barry was born and raised in Watertown, SD, where he came to understand and appreciate the agricultural, industrial, and service industries in the area. Since leaving Watertown, he has lived in large and small communities, and currently resides with his wife Jess and four children in rural Southwestern Minnesota, near Ivanhoe. Prior to entering the practice of law, Barry had a successful career in the equipment leasing industry with a national leader in financial services. While in the equipment leasing industry Barry gained extensive knowledge about the inner workings of various types of business entities
